Exploratory visits
2019 - Two volunteers Dr Paul Neary and Dr Chris Jary visited in June 2019 to assess potential for any new projects but as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic we had to put much of our work on hold
2023 - Dr Niall Campbell, our new charity Chairperson, visited for the first time along with Chris Faldon to further evaluate the impact of the global pandemic on our partnership and look for areas to strengthen our support. Many staff were interviewed and a range of potential projects were suggested such as assistance in the care of patients with mental illness.
Sanitation: Phase 2
In January 2026 we set out to complete a vitally important public health sanitation project. This began with some exploratory work in 2017. The ZamBaz project is focused on protecting both patients, staff and visitors by creating a network of sewers, pipes, pumps and treatment facilities.
